Absolutely! I've designed the workshops for students that have never had their own successful Internet businesses before. Many of our students have never managed their own websites before and have gone on to develop successful websites to sell their products on the internet. You can view many examples here.
I'm an experienced web designer or I have some webdesign experience, what workshops are right for me?
If you are not familiar with the development and internet marketing aspects of wordpress, joomla, oscommerce, I suggest you take any of our workshops.
Is there interaction with other Students and Instructor?
Yes, you have the ability to ask questions during the live Webinars. You can see the names of the other students that are online during the webinar. There is also a forum for you to post questions and share homework questions and solutions.
How do I attend?
When you register, you will receive an email and webinar link that enables you to attend the live webinars. You watch and listen to the webinars from your computers. You can ask questions during the webinar. You will receive a link to the forum where you can listen to the recorded sessions if you missed the live sessions. Recorded sessions are usually available within 3 hours of the live session ending. You enjoy the comforts of your own home or office, while you learn and work on your own website and internet business.
What do I need?
Computer with web browser, High speed internet access and a phone with handfree headset.
You also need to schedule time for the workshop: 2 classes per week, one hour each, for 1 month. Schedule about 2 hours per week for your homework assignments.
How much is it?
Each workshop pricing is different, depending on what is included. The pricing can range from $15.00 to $800.00 USD. Some Workshops include:
- Website Hosting One Year
- Domain Name for One Year.
- Live WorkShop 2x per week for One Month (8 total)
- Access to WorkShop Recordings, Tutorials for One Month.
What is the refund policy?
Refunds are granted only if the course is canceled by Seaway WebSites.
What if I can't attend the live classes?
They are recorded, just log on and play the course at your pace and convenience. The classes are sequential for the course and build on one another.
What if I've registered but I can't attend the live classes or watch the recordings?
Our workshop space is limited and when you register, we reserve a space for you for that class. If you need to cancel, we ask that you notify Seaway WebSites within 14 days before the first session you signed up for.
How long are the workshops?
Each workshop can last from one hour, to one month, or longer. Each class is online, in the evening, lasting about an hour. All classes are recorded and available for playback within 3 hours of the completion of the live broadcast.
Is there homework?
Yes. This helps you learn by doing and helps the instructor know if students understand the material. You get out of this course what you put into it. You will be given reading and assignments to work on your own website, every week. Plan on about 1 hour of homework for each nights class.
Can I ask the instructor questions?
Yes. During the webinar and via email! I will try to answer the email promptly. I try to answer students questions within a couple of hours of receiving the email.
Will you help me with my website?
Yes, if the questions you have are relevant to the class material, you don't abuse and if there is time. However, I will not develop your website for you unless you have purchased WebSite Development Services from Seaway WebSites.
What should my expectations be when taking a workshop?
You will get out of the workshop what you put into it. If you attend the courses, read the material and do the homework you will have a great foundation for a productive website and Internet business. As you probably know, you really learn the ins-and-outs of website management by doing projects on your own. However, this course gives you a great foundation to get started.
Courses, Schedule and Syllabus?
Courses start at the date and time posted on the session calendar. Dates and times are subject to change and students will be updated when they occur. A syllabus will be provided to all students when they enroll. The syllabus is subject to change during the course to best meet the needs of the class and as technology changes.
How long will I have access to the recorded material?
One week after the completion of the last class for the course.

What will I learn and get out of the workshops?
You will learn how to install, customize, manage, promote, and own your own websites. I don't believe in teaching material that is not likely to be useful to you. I have been doing website development, internet business management, internet marketing, and teaching since January 1996. I know what works and what doesn't.
