  • What does our dream customer, do for work?

  • When does our dream customer live, work, and play?
  • Why does our dream customer do the things that they do?
  • How does our dream customer do the things that they do?
  • Is their any specific jargon our dream customer uses when communicating?
  • What are 20 things - ideas - actions - personalities that our dream customer LIKES very much?
  • What are 20 things - ideas - actions - personalities that our dream customer DISLIKES very much?
  • What is our Dream Customers' biggest PROBLEM - PAIN - FRUSTRATION - ACHE - ILLNESS?
    • How can we ease or remove our Dream Customers' pain?
  • Who does your dream customer go too, for help with their pain and problems?
  • Who are you competing with, for your customer's attention?

Now you will have a valuable resource for your company.  Your dream customer profile is full of keywords and keyphrases, especially when you take time to put examples of how your dream customer communicates and operates in the world.  You can review and analyze the places that your dream customer lives, works, and plays to learn how they communicate and what 'jargon' they use on a daily basis. 

REVIEW & FOLLOW TRENDS.  The internet provides many free online tools for watching industry trends.  You can use google and yahoo to search for your industry trends.  A few good trend watching websites include:

• Your Company Logo.  Keep It Simple!  It needs to be:

  • Do NOT expect your dream customer to guess how to spell or find you.
  • Make your company logo, simple text with your domain name. ie:   YourName.com
  • Make that company logo & name a short word that is valuable to your dream customer.  It's the short, easy to spell word that your dream customer thinks of First, when they go searching for similar products and services that you want to provide.
• Create List of Compelling Questions that you know your dream customers, ask the most often.  Plug in your answers, of how you can ease or remove your dream customers' pain, problem, frustrations.  You may need to hire an experienced writer or editor to do this for you.  You must create short chunks of keyword rich text that is valuable for your dream customer.  You may need to use a service, like the AskDataBase to automate and optimize this for you.  Give this list to your website developer or website content manager.  If you are a techie, use this list and create an automated system for posting the question with link to the answer / solution. 
  • Create a list that is also micro-blogging friendly.  ie:  Compelling Question -> Answer with tinyurl link to Valuable Freebie Webpage.
  • Re-Use each of the above for all your internet marketing campaigns.  Post the relevant question -> Answer with tinyurl link to your favorite popular high traffic blogs, ezines, newspapers, and any website you can imagine, in the public COMMENTS section.
  • Have your website developer automate the process of posting a new question / answer to your own website blog, your ping.fm or hellotxt account.
• Create New Freebie WebPage for Each Compelling Question with Your Answer / Solution.  Your website CMS (wordpress, joomla, drupal) makes this task simple and standardized, with minimal effort.  Provide valuable information to your dream customer, so that you can establish credibility and create rapport.  Don't give away everything for free, but give away enough information so that your dream customer receives value for spending time with you on the internet.  Your freebies should not make you poor, but they should be very valuable because you must respect - appreciate - and value your dream customers' time.  If you don't, you are in the wrong business. 
• Shorten the URL for your New WebPages.  Use http://www.tinyurl.com  to create a short website address for each of your new marketing webpages. 
• Create Your Free Profile with  Ping.fm  or HelloTxt.com     Use the most valuable keywords, based on your dream customer.  If you offer the world's most expensive shoes, your profile name - bio - description should be full of the most valuable keywords based on your dream customers' profile that you created earlier.  Your profile with Ping or HelloTxt will automatically update all of your future social networking website profiles for you (facebook, twitter).  This saves you a ton of time, money, and effort in the future.
  • You will want to also automate the process of posting your question -> answer to your ping or hellotxt account each day. 
  • Keep that post valuable.  Your dream customer should value and appreciate the information you provide.  Are you establishing credibility and rapport with your dream customers?  with your prospects?  with your leads?  with your targets?  Of course you are, you are in good company :)
• Create Your Free Profiles with the popular social networking websites.  Remember to use your most valuable keywords and descriptions based on your dream customer.  Your social networking profile name, bio, description, and content should be a very valuable find for your dream customer when they go searching on the internet. 
• Update your Ping & HelloTxt Profiles go back and add all of your social network profiles login information to your account with Ping and HelloTxt.  I suggest you get your free account with both Ping and HelloTxt, just in case one of them is not available - you can use the other one.
• Create ECommerce WebPage for each of your Solutions.  You should discuss your product funnel with your team before you create your ecommerce pages.  You should know how much your dream customer wants to pay for your solutions and what kind of solutions your dream customer is demanding right now.  If you use the askdatabase, the discovery process is automated and optimized for you.  Your website developer and team can simply look at the information that the askdatabase gathered for you and make knowledgeable decisions. 
  • LET YOUR DREAM CUSTOMER TELL YOU WHAT PRODUCTS / SERVICES THEY WANT FROM YOU & HOW MUCH THEY ARE WILLING TO PAY. 
    • Why waste time wondering and trying to sell a product that your true dream customer does not care about or even value?? 
    • Why not provide the exact products / services that your dream customer is looking for and making sure it is always found, exactly where your dream customer is hanging out?
    • When you present your solution, it will even be labeled exactly the way your dream customer speaks, thinks, and communicates.
